Training
Last night I did more KB work and body-weight stuff. I have got to get WAY stronger. I did swings, clean and presses, push ups, rows, lying presses, kb weighted squats, and lunges till my legs were totally blasted.

Another day to smile.

Today is Monday and it is yet another day to smile. My family is all healthy and doing ok. All of us are feeling this economic mess, but we are all still above water. I am sore today from mowing, laying straw, and then walking 2.25 miles on the treadmill. I am making it a goal to do something everyday, even if I can't get in a good kettlebell workout.

Bought a Bigwheel, did some Kettlebell work!!
Today we went to Target and bought Amber a BIGWHEEL!! Just like the ones we all had when we were kids. It is so cool!! She got too tall for her tricycle and can't ride her big bike yet, she's only 2. So we got the bigwheel.
Came home and threw some ribs in the oven for dinner and did a quick kettlebell workout while Amber took her nap.
Just from the little amount of time that I have started back with my kettlebell, I can feel myself getting stronger. I LIKE IT!!
Waiting on Trademark to go though with the US Patent office. Hopefully it will be soon and we can put ® on our stuff, that will be nice. We had to resubmit it through a lawyer. The lawyer said that most of them get rejected the first time due to improper filing procedures. What a bunch o junk that is. Anyway hopefully we will be protected soon.

My kettlebell
My kettlebell is my friend!! I dusted her off a few weeks ago and got started again. I am focusing on my swing technique and really trying to get it right. I feel I have good hip snap and am really working on increasing my sets slowly. I still prefer swinging with one hand over swinging with two. I like alternating 5 and 5 then doing like 2 or 3 two handed swings and back to 5 and 5 alternating. It is working for me right now, so I'll stick to it till I can get stronger. I feel it is more of a pull in my low back by doing the two handed swing and that maybe I am doing something wrong because I know that two handed should be easier than one handed. I have been messing with adjusting the speed with which I go back down into the hike portion of the swing and that is helping somewhat. I also feel that if I hinge forward just a slight bit more on the down swing that it relieves most of the tension in my low back. I'll be playing with things here and there till I get it dialed in. Anyway, I am happy to be playing with my bell again, it feels great.
